This can be exploited to enumerate valid usernames. 2) Input passed via the "value" parameter to xmlhttp.php (when "action" is set to "username_exists") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site. 3) Input passed via thread subjects is not properly sanitised before being displayed to the user when certain actions are performed. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious data is being viewed. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires HTML in posts to be enabled. The weaknesses and the vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.6.2. SOLUTION: Update to version 1.6.2.
