Details: A vulnerability in AlphaStor Drive Control Program (DCP) can cause a buffer overflow during creation of a device name. This vulnerability could be exploited by unauthenticated remote user to create a denial of service condition or execute arbitrary code. Resolution: The following EMC AlphaStor product contains a resolution to this issue: EMC AlphaStor 4.0 build 814 and later EMC strongly recommends all customers upgrade to above build at the earliest opportunity.
