DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in Sun Java System Access Manager, which
can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The problem is that a local user with root privileges may administer
the Sun Java System Access Manager installation with the privileges
of the top-level administrator via the "amadmin" tool.

The weakness has been reported in version 7.0.

SOLUTION:
Apply updates.

Apply patch 120954-01 or later.

-- x86 Platform --

Sun Java System Access Manager 7.0 (for Solaris 9 and 10):
Apply patch 120955-01 or later.

Sun Java System Access Manager 7.0:
Apply patch 120956-01 or later.
