The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing overly long URLs. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow by tricking the user into opening a specially crafted stream. Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code. The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to SVN revision 2349. SOLUTION: Fixed in the SVN at revision 2349.
