Secunia Security Advisory - Ubuntu has issued an update for linux-mvl-dove. This fixes multiple weaknesses and vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to disclose certain system information, bypass certain security restrictions, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and to potentially gain escalated privileges, by malicious people to cause a DoS, and by malicious people with physical access to potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

DESCRIPTION:
Ubuntu has issued an update for linux-mvl-dove. This fixes multiple
weaknesses and vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious,
local users to disclose certain system information, bypass certain
security restrictions, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), and to

1) The vulnerability is caused due to an integer underflow error in
the DCCP (Datagram Congestion Control Protocol) implementation when
handling invalid feature option lengths and can be exploited to crash
the system.
