DESCRIPTION:
A weakness has been reported in gdk-pixbuf, which can be exploited by
malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) in an application
using the library.
The weakness is caused due to an error in the
"gdk_pixbuf__gif_image_load()" function (gdk-pixbuf/io-gif.c) and can
be exploited to cause memory exhaustion by providing a specially
crafted GIF image.
The weakness is reported in versions prior to 2.23.5.
SOLUTION:
Fixed in the GIT repository. Also fixed in version 2.23.5.
