DESCRIPTION:
Han Lee has discovered a vulnerability in Core FTP, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing a
filename to be downloaded. This can be exploited to cause a
stack-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted FTP LIST command
response.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code, but
requires tricking a user into connecting to a malicious server.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version LE 2.2 Build 1741. Other
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.2 Build 1745.
