DESCRIPTION:
A security issue has been reported in IBM Rational Directory Server,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing
attacks.
The security issue is caused due to the IBM Global Security Kit
(GSKit) not properly verifying the validity of added Certificate
Objects can be exploited to spoof a valid server and e.g. conduct
Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks.
The security issue is reported in versions 5.2.0.2, 5.2.0.1, and 5.2
running GSKit versions prior to 8.0.14.22.
SOLUTION:
Update GSKit to version 8.0.14.22.
