DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Zabbix, which can be exploited
by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to the "user.login()" function not
properly handling the "cnf" parameter of LDAP authentication requests
and can be exploited to change certain authentication configuration
and authenticate against a different LDAP server.
Successful exploitation requires that LDAP authentication is used.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 1.8.16.

Update to version 1.8.16.
