DESCRIPTION:
Fernando Muñoz has discovered a vulnerability in PDF-XChange Viewer,
which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's
system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when processing a JPEG
stream and can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via
a specially crafted JPEG stream within a PDF file.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but
requires tricking a user into opening a malicious PDF document.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.5 Build 207.0. Prior
versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.5 Build 208.0.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
