DESCRIPTION:
Multiple vulnerabilities have been reported in FFmpeg, which can be
exploited by malicious people to compromise an application using the
library.
1) An error within the "avcodec_decode_audio4()" function
(libavcodec/utils.c) can be exploited to corrupt memory.
2) An off-by-one error exists within the "init_get_bits()" function
(libavcodec/get_bits.h) when parsing certain data.
3) A use-after-free error exists within the matroska decoder.
4) A double-free error exists within the "vp3_decode_end()" function
(libavcodec/vp3.c).
Successful exploitation of the vulnerabilities may allow execution of
arbitrary code.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 1.1.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.1.1.
PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
1) The vendor credits Mateusz "j00ru" Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind.
2 - 4) Reported by the vendor.
