DESCRIPTION:
Filip Sneppe has reported a vulnerability in Apache, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the byte-range filter
when handling a request containing the HTTP "Range" header. This can
be exploited to cause Apache to consume large amounts of memory.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.0.49. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
The vulnerability has been fixed in the CVS repository.
