DESCRIPTION:
r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in apt-webshop, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL
injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "message" parameter is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in modules.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Note that the installation path is disclosed when MySQL error
messages are displayed.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.0 light, 3.0
basic, and 4.0 pro. Other versions may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
