DESCRIPTION:
rgod has discovered a vulnerability in pppBLOG, which can be
exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "files[0]" parameter in randompic.php isn't
properly verified, before it is used in a "readfile()" call. This can
be exploited to disclose the content of arbitrary files via directory
traversal attacks.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.3.8. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly verified.
Set "register_globals" to "Off".
