TITLE:
All In One Control Panel (AIOCP) Multiple Vulnerabilities
SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA22719
VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/22719/
CRITICAL:
Moderately critical
IMPACT:
Cross Site Scripting, Manipulation of data
WHERE:
>From remote
SOFTWARE:
All In One Control Panel 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/12505/
DESCRIPTION:
Laurent Gaffié and Benjamin Mossé have discovered several
vulnerabilities in All In One Control Panel (AIOCP), which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks or
cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "choosed_language" parameter in cp_dpage.php,
cp_news.php, cp_forum_view.php, cp_edit_user.php, cp_newsletter.php,
cp_links.php, cp_contact_us.php and cp_login.php is not properly
sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code. This also
affects the "news_category" parameter in cp_news.php, the
"product_category_id" and "order_field" parameters in
cp_show_ec_products.php, "links_category" in cp_links.php, and
"firstrow" in cp_users_online.php.
2) Input passed to the "order_field" parameter in
cp_show_ec_products.php and cp_users_online.php is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site. This also affects the "topid", "forid"
and "catid" parameters in cp_forum_view.php, the "choosed_language"
parameter in cp_dpage.php and the "orderdir" parameter in
cp_links_search.php.
All mentioned PHP scripts are located in the public/code directory.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.3.007. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
