SOFTWARE:
PHP Easy Download 1.x
http://secunia.com/product/12674/

DESCRIPTION:
nuffsaid has discovered a vulnerability in PHP Easy Download, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.

Input passed to the "description", "moreinfo", "accesses", "date",
and "filename" parameters in file_info/admin/save.php is not properly
sanitised before being written to a web-accessible file with the name
from "filename" plus the string ".0". This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary PHP code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.5. Other versions may
also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Restrict access to the "file_info" directory (e.g. with .htaccess).
