DESCRIPTION:
Will Dormann has reported a vulnerability in BusinessObjects, which
can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the
"RptViewerAX" ActiveX Control (RptViewerAX.dll), which can be
exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a user visits a
malicious web page.
Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 6.5. Other versions may also
be affected.
SOLUTION:
Apply critical hotfix CHF74 (contact the vendor for more
information).
