DESCRIPTION:
Dino Covotsos and Charlton Smith have discovered a vulnerability in
the Download Monitor Plugin for WordPress, which can be exploited by
malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "id" parameter in
wp-download_monitor/download.php is not properly sanitised before
being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL
queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.0.6. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.0.8.
