DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in HTML Purifier, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting or
script insertion attacks.
Input passed to the library containing CSS data is not properly
sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious
data is viewed.
Successful exploitation of one of the vulnerabilities requires that
the output encoding is set to Shift_JIS.
The vulnerabilities are reported in all versions prior to 2.1.5 and
3.1.1.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.1.5 or 3.1.1.
