SOFTWARE:
CMScout 2.x

DESCRIPTION:
SirGod has discovered some vulnerabilities in CMScout, which can be
exploited by malicious people and malicious users to conduct SQL
injection attacks, and by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable
system.

1) Input passed to the "id" parameter in index.php (when "page" is
set to "mythings") is not properly sanitised before being used in an
SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by
injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) Input passed to the "id" parameter in index.php (when "page" is
set to "users" and "subpage" to "users_view") is not properly
sanitised before being used in an SQL query. This can be exploited to
manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires access to the
administration section.

3) Input passed to the "bit" parameter in index.php and admin.php is
not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be
exploited to include arbitrary files from local and external
resources.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that
"register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.06. Prior
versions may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.07.
