TITLE:

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA34468

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/34468/

DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in phpMyAdmin, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct HTTP response splitting
attacks or disclose sensitive information.

1) Certain input passed to the BLOB streaming feature is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
insert arbitrary HTTP headers, which will be included in a response
sent to the user.

2) Input passed via the BLOB streaming feature is not properly
verified before being used to open files. This can be exploited to
read arbitrary files from local and remote resources.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.1.0.0 and prior to
3.1.3.1.

SOLUTION:
Update to version 3.1.3.1 or apply patch.
