DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Mahara, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks
and potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Certain unspecified input passed to the "introduction" user
profile field and certain text blocks in user views is not properly
sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to
execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in
context of an affected site.
2) A vulnerability is caused due to the use of a vulnerable version
of the chuggnutt.com "HTML to Plain Text Conversion" PHP class.

Vulnerability #1 is reported in versions prior to 1.0.11 and 1.1.3.
Vulnerability #2 is reported in 1.1.x versions prior to 1.1.3, the
1.0 branch is not affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.0.11 or 1.1.3.
