ACDSee Products Two Buffer Overflow Vulnerabilities

DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in multiple ACDSee products,
which can be exploited by malicious people to potentially compromise
a user's system.

1) An error in the processing of TIFF images can be exploited to
cause a buffer overflow and potentially execute arbitrary code.

2) An error when processing specially crafted fonts can be exploited
cause a buffer overflow and potentially execute arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are reported in the following products and
versions:
* ACDSee 9.x
* ACDSee Photo Manager 2008 and 2009
* ACDSee Pro Photo Manager versions 2.5 and prior

SOLUTION:
Do not open untrusted files.
