TITLE:
CuteFlow "edituser.php" Security Bypass Vulnerability

SECUNIA ADVISORY ID:
SA36349

VERIFY ADVISORY:
http://secunia.com/advisories/36349/

DESCRIPTION:
Hever Costa Rocha has discovered a vulnerability in CuteFlow, which
can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security
restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to the pages/edituser.php script
allowing the modification of user settings without checking for valid
credentials. This can be exploited to e.g. change an administrator's
password by directly accessing the script.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.11.0_c. Other versions
may also be affected.

SOLUTION:
Restrict access to the pages/edituser.php script (e.g. via
.htaccess).

PROVIDED AND/OR DISCOVERED BY:
Hever Costa Rocha
