DESCRIPTION:
Some weaknesses and some vulnerabilities have been reported in SAP
BusinessObjects, which can be exploited by malicious people to
disclose system information and conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
1) Input passed to the "lang" and "skin" parameters in
AnalyticalReporting/querywizard/jsp/apply.jsp, the "lang" parameter
in AnalyticalReporting/querywizard/jsp/apply.jsp and
AnalyticalReporting/querywizard/jsp/turnto.jsp, the "url" parameter
in PerformanceManagement/scripts/docLoadUrl.jsp, the "swf" parameter
in PerformanceManagement/jsp/aa-display-flash.jsp, the "serSes"
parameter in PerformaneManagement/jsp/alertcontrol.jsp, the "error"
parameter in PerformanceManagement/jsp/viewError.jsp, the "flowid"
parameter in PerformanceManagement/jsp/ic_pm/wigoalleftlisttr.jsp,
the "sEntry" parameter in
PerformanceManagement/jsp/viewWebiReportHeader.jsp, and the
"dummyParam" parameter in PerformanceManagement/jsp/wait-frameset.jsp
and potentially other scripts and parameters is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
2) It is possible to view certain system information by e.g.
accessing the dswsbobje/axis2-web/HappyAxis.jsp,
BusinessProcessBI/axis2-web/HappyAxis.jsp, and potentially other
scripts directly.
SOLUTION:
Filter malicious requests using a proxy.
