DESCRIPTION:
Some weaknesses and vulnerabilities have been reported in SAP
BusinessObjects, which can be exploited by malicious people to
disclose system information or conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "framework" parameter in
AdminTools/querybuilder/ie.jsp and
AdminTools/querybuilder/logonform.jsp, to the "loc" parameter in
CrystalReports/jsp/CrystalReport_View/viewReport.jsp, the "url"
parameter in InfoViewApp/jsp/common/actionNavFrame.jsp, and to the
"service" parameter in PlatformServices/preferences.do is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Certain scripts (e.g.
tomcat-docs/jspapi/%c0%ae%c0%ae/WEB-INF/web.xml and
CmcApp/App/home.jsp, and CmcApp/logon.jsp) may disclose system
information when being accessed directly.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 12.1.
