DESCRIPTION:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in vBulletin, which can be
exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks and
potentially by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
1) Input passed via the title when creating new blog posts is not
properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert
arbitrary HTML and script code which is executed in a user's browser
session in context of an affected site then the malicious data is
viewed.
2) Unspecified input related to CMS content type search widgets and
CMS article preview on section pages is not properly sanitised before
being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary
HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an
affected site.
Vulnerabilities #1 and #2 are reported in versions prior to 4.0.2
PL3.
3) Unspecified input related to the CMS article editor is not
properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be
exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's
browser session in context of an affected site.
This vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 4.0.2 PL4.

Update to vBulletin 4.0.2 PL4.
