DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Xataface, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed via e.g. the search functionality of generated
applications is not properly sanitised in
Dataface/templates/Dataface_Main_Template.html before being returned
to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and
script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
Note: This may also be exploited to disclose the full path to the
application.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.2.4. Prior versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 1.2.5.
