DESCRIPTION:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in Watcher module for Drupal,
which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site
scripting and cross-site request forgery attacks.
1) Input passed via unspecified parameters is not properly sanitised
before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute
arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context
of an affected site.
2) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP
requests without making proper validity checks to verify the
requests. This can be exploited to e.g. perform the subscribe and
unsubscribe actions by tricking a user into visiting a malicious web
site while being logged-in to the application.
The vulnerabilities are reported in versions prior to 5.x-1.7 and
6.x-1.4.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 5.x-1.7 or later or version 6.x-1.4 or later.
