DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Smallftpd, which can be
exploited by malicious users to disclose sensitive information.
The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error when
downloading files and can be exploited to disclose the contents of
arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.3-fix. Other versions
may also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
