DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been discovered in vtiger CRM, which can be
exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting
attacks.
Input passed via the "default_user_name" parameter to index.php (when
"module" is set to "Users" and "action" is set to "Login") is not
properly sanitised in modules/Users/Login.php before being returned
to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and
script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected
site.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 5.2.1. Other versions may
also be affected.
SOLUTION:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
