DESCRIPTION:
A vulnerability has been reported in Apache Sling, which can be
exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an input verification error when
handling the @CopyFrom operation in the Sling POST servlet. This can
be exploited to cause an infinite loop and subsequently exhaust
memory and storage resources via a specially crafted HTTP request.
The vulnerability is reported in versions 2.1.0 and prior.
SOLUTION:
Update to version 2.1.2. Additionally fixed within the SVN
repository.
